Adolescent symposium

Dallas Therapeutic Services recently had the opportunity to host a booth at the Adolescent Symposium. This was the 47th annual conference held by Mental Health America of Greater Dallas. The symposium is designed for providers working with children and adolescents, offering a wide range of topics geared to learning opportunities. Our office manager, Brian, held down the booth both days of the conference, while 3 of our clinicians attended lectures and learned about some fabulous resources. Specifically, our group had the opportunity to learn about Fetal Alcohol Syndrome, human trafficking, preparing for college, new models for building rapport, substance use trends/effects, concussions and so much more! We also built a wealth of resources for treatment options, groups, and other providers. DTS loves being a part of the mental health community and will continue to strive to provide the best possible care.
